To celebrate the grand opening of Arc’teryx Georgetown, I helped co-market a high-energy community climbing event in collaboration with Movement Crystal City (climbing gym).
Hosted on February 8th, the event featured bouldering competitions, beginner-friendly challenges, music, raffles, small bites, and exclusive giveaways — including a coveted Arc’teryx Beta Jacket and complimentary Movement day passes.
Marketing Strategy
We promoted the event through a multi-channel campaign that included:

Branded Instagram Story countdowns and feed posts across both Movement and Arc’teryx local accounts
In-gym signage and digital screens to drive foot traffic from current members
Cross-promotion with @arcteryxwashingtondc to reach a broader outdoor and climbing community
Targeted call-to-actions encouraging RSVPs and social engagement for giveaway entries
The result? A packed afternoon of connection, climbing, and cross-brand exposure that successfully brought two engaged communities together in one space.
